Warriors in Life - Love & Support

Throughout the history of this planet called Earth, mankind has strived to find meaning of the individual strengths of man & woman.   For thousands of years enthralling stories of male and female warriors have entered each culture.   The male warrior was often seen as the hunter and protector of his family while the female warrior was often an emblem of ferocious loyalty on one hand and nurturing compassion on the other.   Together they forged a path through life as a balance for one another.   These statuettes represent the powerful support and encouragement we are capable of giving to one another.   The spiral symbols on their shields are ancient designs that are found throughout the world's cultures, perhaps a sign that will take us closer to the engrossing quest for the meaning of life.   According to some cultures, spirals are believed to hold the essence of the relationship of the moon to the sun and the earth.   To some the spiral is a symbol of the cycle of birth, death and rebirth.
